Saint Valentine is a real saint whose life is a bit of mystery but is known to have been put to death for his beliefs in uniting couples in the name of God. During his imprisonment he befriended his jailers daughter, a blind child to whom he showed unconditional love. On the day of his death, February 14th, he signed his last note to her ~ "From Your Valentine."
