Easy Numerology #3 -THE CREATIVE CHILD

Those who have been blessed with a heavy dose of 3's in their charts tend to have an easier time being happy, optimistic, and playful individuals. However, this kind of "joie de vivre" can leave those same people unprepared for the more demanding experiences that life inevitably brings.
Meaningful relationships are a bit of a challenge for the 3 -- at least those that include long-term commitment and loyalty. With plenty of acquaintances , when true depth and intimacy enter the picture, the  #3 runs for the hills.
And while the western mindset focuses on happy moments as the ideal, the unhappy experiences can be the ones that bring a much greater depth and quality to our lives.  The learning experiences and difficulties that present themselves to an average person, add depth of character and compassion.  Don't look for this in a #3.  Happiness is easily achievable for a #3 and it is as easy as getting something materialistic or having something fleeting make their day (e.g., a day at the beach).
The #3 feels a deeply hidden sense of insecurity, especially when they have conflicts with others- ("If I can't have you, then no one can.") The 3 has a nasty jealous streak.  They are considered shallow.
But when a #3 "hits rock bottom", its happy surface is  transformed into a quiet and serene person. They have found the motivation and enthusiasm to dig deeper into the realities of life, and no longer run from fear.  They see that people, not possessions or illusions make the human experience worthwhile.

Easy Numerology-- #2 THE ALL KNOWING

The #2 is a sensual, graceful, loyal partner who can be demanding, but is worth the trouble.
Extremely intuitive prowess is in the way they interact with others; it is the true basis of their tact and understanding.  As a spouse, the # 2 is an invaluable asset.  They can be extremely diplomatic. Their loyalty is unwaivering and they will defend you at any and all costs.
#2 is highly emotional and demanding, and expects to be treated like a god/goddess. If they are devoted to you, they expect you to be equally devoted. If angered, it is most likely because you have not paid enough attention lately. Respond with love, affection, and attention, as they love to make up.
The # 2 is jealous and mean-spirited when other forces reach for their partner. When a #2 feels crossed or mistreated, their anger is formidable and another side comes out  -- a side that can be extremely cruel and unrelenting. They can smash a perceived threat or an adversary to pieces with absolutely no regret or remorse. What is theirs is theirs, and you are well-advised to remember this trait.
The # 2 can also be critical and verbally abusive and can have a temper tantrum for the most for trivial reason.  They can also ignore you and display extended periods of indifference using the most illogical reasoning.  It is best to walk away and come back as if nothing happened.
They are not necessarily materialistic, but if you don't show up with gifts every once in a while,  you know in no uncertain terms that you are not measuring up to their standards.
Because of their most intuitive nature, they can be drawn to the occult. They often understand the true nature and motivations of others, and their powers of keen observation and clarity often times help people to better understand themselves.

Easy Numerology-- #1 THE PRIMAL FORCE

Nature's most basic building block is the number 1. Nature knows no mercy and its cruelty can be heartbreaking. However, it is balanced and gives life indiscriminately and without judgment.
The number 1 has an innate sense of perfection and balance. When dealing with a #1, one can force a change here or there, but negative repercussions are likely.
The most masculine of all numbers. It doesn't waste time on abstract ideas or anything else that isn't in line with its pursuit of results. A task master, and result oriented person- or Type A personality is pretty good overall description.
There exists a simple, straightforward view of life and its many complexities. By being a pragmatic and ruthless warrior or conqueror, there is NO hesitation when there is a confrontation. #1 is a very jealous and extremely stubborn person, but also courageous and willing to try anything new if it can succeed.
It trusts its own ability to separate right from wrong. Individual and independent, one will force its values and opinions upon people and will not accept or listen to differing opinions. A very unyielding person.
There is a certain quality, a sense of honor and responsibility that demands our respect, and it has a sense of justice that cannot be denied. The number 1 cannot witness an injustice without engaging and setting the record straight.
Its purity of purpose is an admirable quality of the number 1. It sees things for what they are and hypocrisy is never tolerated.
Befriend a #1 and you have a friend for life. You can tease mercilessly and not have to worry about hurt feelings. They have a wonderful sense of humor, and are self-effacing or self-deprecating.
Do not bother to curry favor for friendship or romance because you will immediately lose their respect. But if you stand up for your beliefs, you'll gain admiration. A difficult  person to love because individuals are usually incapable of living up to expectations.  They are extremely impatient, demanding, and combative.
If one is your enemy, you will be crushed without mercy. On the other hand if you are in trouble and need help, there is no one braver that will protect you.
If your boss is this number, you will be pushed to the limit, abused at all hours, and become the best you could ever be. Expectations again are extremely important to this individual. Results for happiness and satisfaction usually derive from most work or task successes.

Clear Quartz and its Properties

Clear Quartz Cluster

Clear Quartz
Clear Quartz is the most widely used crystals for healing. Used alone or in junction with other crystals for an added energy boost.
Clear Quartz can be used clean/smudge your other crystals.  This is especially handy If you have a soft crystal or one that can be damaged by water (e.g.,Selenite) , then this is great for cleansing.

After you cleanse your crystals you will need to clear the Quartz of the negative properties it has attracted and re-energize the stone. You can bury it in the earth, or rinse with water. It is also recommended to "charge" crystals under a full moon.
Clear Quartz is used to shield against Geopathic Stress which  caused by Electromagnetic emissions from electronics like computer monitors, TV's, cell phones, high tension power lines, or anything that emits an electromagnetic field (including People).

Clear Quartz amplifies your self-awareness and absorbs and stores emotional energy like a battery. Generally speaking, it cleanses and purifies the mind and spirit
It is used to help open up all 7 of the major Chakras.
Clear Quartz is a natural barrier for different types of harmful radiation.

A small tomb in Knowth Ireland

Lamb on Mound of the Hostages - Tara

Ok, I scaled an extremely steep and high hill to see this ancient tomb- the path was literally 8" wide. There were not any sheep on the hill, because it was too damn high.  We had the key to get into the passage.  It is estimated to be from 3000BC.  Not much inside but the view was fantastic- you could see forever along the hills..  Then I fell down the hill, (literally just like Jill) and rolled into a patch of Stinging Nettles.  My friend Tim rushed down and looked at me.  He said, "Mimi, take a moment..."  Yes, my blood went to 160 degrees Fahrenheit, and he was out of arms reach when he made the cheeky remark.  Enjoy the picture and take my advice- do not make the trek up this hill. Dreams and simple herbs/flowers to aid you

Dreams can be merely entertaining or intense and prophetic. Many natural aids to dreaming can be found in the garden!
  • If you want peaceful dreams that are relaxing, place a vase of jasmine by your bed.
  • If you are having nightmares and wish them stopped, place morning glories in the vase instead.
  • If you need to learn something in a dream, place a bay leaf under your pillow and ask for the knowledge.
  • If you just want nice dreams, use a sachet of lavender.

Full Moon and its effects on our bodies

The Full Moon intensifies EVERYTHING!

This is the time to apply the most powerful herbs.

Energy healing work during the Full Moon is very powerful.

On the energetic level, the moon acts like a magnifying mirror.  The strong lunar energy pulls everything out of hiding and reflects it back at us.

This is often the time during an acute illness when people feel their worst.

Often times people aren't even aware that they're sick until the Full Moon cycles.

This is also an excellent time for psychological therapy. Emotions seem closer to the surface than usual and social inhibitions melt away.

Agendas that have been simmering under the surface tend to come out under the light of the Full Moon.

This is a time to strengthen relationships and reaffirm bonds. Never underestimate the healing power of simply holding someone's hand and listening.

This is not the time for isolation or introspection .

The Full Moon draws all of life toward it.

Even the solid ground rises several inches when the Full Moon passes overhead!

Waxing Phase of the Moon as a time to heal!

The waxing phase of the Moon is the best time to build the body up.  This is when you can use nurturing herbs and tonics to strengthen the body's natural immunities.

Here are a few examples listed below;
Raspberry leaf is an excellent tonic for female reproductive organs
Hawthorn berries are good for the cardiovascular system
Nettle is a great blood tonic
Marshmallow root is a soothing tonic for the urinary tract
Red clover builds fertility
Oat straw is good for the nervous system
Alfalfa is a fantastic all-around nutritive tonic
Burdock is a good Liver tonic

During the waxing phase it is advisable to increase water intake so as to avoid water retention. The more water we ingest, the less water our bodies attempt to retain.

This is also a good time to apply medicinal salves and to take therapeutic baths.

Most importantly, ensure that the body has all the nutritional support it needs. This is the body's building time, and it needs a good supply of minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates, lipids, and amino acids to be healthy.

I would advise against fasting or beginning a weight loss program during the waxing Moon.

Use energy healing techniques to strengthen and reconnect with the earth.

Be careful to ground and center when healing so that you never use up your own life force energy. The universe is full of energy to use, and by tapping into it you will be able to help many more people than you could by using just your energy alone.

Sweetgrass for smudging

Close this window
Also called Seneca grass, holy grass and vanilla grass. This very special herb's sweet vanilla-like scent is the breath of the Earth mother, bringing the blessing of Mother Earth's love. Sweetgrass is burned to remind us of essence of the feminine and that the earth provides us with everything we need. Sweetgrass can also be be unbraided or trimmed with a scissors into small pieces and sprinkled on hot Charcoal Tablets. Allow the sacred smoke that follows to wash over the subject of the blessing. The sacredness of the sweetgrass herb then sustains the smudging process. Use a smudging feather if you need to douse the flame or promote more smoke.

Cedar for smudging

Sage Smudge Stick
Cedar is a medicine of protection. Cedar trees are very old, wise and powerful spirits. Cedar is often used to cleanse a home or apartment when first moving in, inviting unwanted spirits to leave and protecting a person, place or object from unwanted influences. Cedar is used as a name for a number of different genuses of trees and shrubs. The primary ones are Cedrus, Thuja, Libdocedrus and Juniperus. The Junipers are not truly Cedars (scientifically) but are used as such by many people. Keep in mind that these scientific names have little meaning to the people using them as medicine in traditional ways.

Sage Sticks

Sage Smudge StickThe use of sage is for healing. The smoke is used to bless, cleanse and heal the person or object being smudged. Sage is used to 'wash off' the outside world when one enters ceremony or other sacred space. Objects are likewise washed off with sage medicine smoke to rid them of unwanted influences. The plants that are called sage can come from very different families of plants. True sages are in the genus of Salvia; this includes Salvia Officinalis (garden sage) and Salvia Apiana (White Sage), also called California White Sage and Sacred Sage. Many of the herbs called sage come from a completely different family of plants, the Asteracea family. This family brings us the genus of Artemisia from which come New Mexico Sage (Artemisia tridentada), and the sage from the Dakotas (Artemisia ludoviciana), also called Grey sage, Prairie sage, Dakota sage, Lakota Sage and mistakenly sometimes called White sage. All of these sages (Salvia and Artemisia) are used for healing and cleansing.

Smudging Feather

Feathers are used in smudging to direct the blessing and cleansing smoke from burning sacred herbs and resins.

It is traditional to use a bird's feather to brush the smoke over the person or object being blessed. It is important to use the underside of the feather to wash the smoke over the object of blessing. It is the underside of the bird and its wings that face the Mother Earth as it flies and it is this surface of the feather that offers the blessing medicine of the bird.

Smudging with Sage- the Basics

The act of smudging is done with a smudge bowl or Abalone Shell with the appropriate herbs directly lit or burned on a coal or Charcoal Tablet. When using charcoal tablets, the bowl or shell should be filled with sand or a flat stone to prevent overheating the container. Smudging is also done with herbs tied in bundles called Smudge Sticks. In either case the smoke is 'washed' over the person or object with a Feather or by fanning the smoke with one's hand.

To do a blessing of a person, begin by looking into the eyes of the person for a moment to 'greet' them, fan the smoke first at their heart and then up to the right side (your left) of the person's head, moving around clockwise (sun-wise), gently washing them with the smoke. Continue brushing smoke down over their left shoulder and the length of their arm and back up again to the shoulder. Wash the smoke down the left side of the torso, left leg and foot. Now smudge the right foot, up the left leg, torso and down the length of the right arm and back up to the shoulder. Now turn the person around, turning to their right (sun-wise again) and repeat these movements as you smudge and bless the person's back. For objects, bless them moving sun-wise around them also.

Archangel Ariel (Uriel) on Abundance

Keep an open mind and an open heart.

Look around to all of the people throughout history who have hearts that shine with radiance.

Notice how their needs were always met. Their willingness to be open minded, or open with their hearts allowed them to receive what they needed, whenever they needed it most.

Pay close attention to an area of your life where you have concern about your needs being met. Areas could include relationships, finances, or friendships. Ask your heart to open wider to these areas.

Do not be scared to receive your abundance. When you have more for yourself, you can share with others.

Archangel Raziel and the Secrets of this Lifetime

The Secrets of the Self are those little gifts that you have given to yourself and setup for yourself prior to your incarnation.

These gifts will unfold at certain points in your life. They have little timers on them, set to elevate you and gift you with more of your own energy and abundance at certain times in your life. These gifts are known to us as the Secrets of the Self because they represent who you really are as being, energy, and light. They are your brilliance.

These gifts are also used as milestones. When you reach a goal for yourself, you often come upon one of these gifts. It’s a beautiful way to give to yourself and it makes the roadmap of life one that is filled with your own treasure.

Archangel Chamuel and his Twin sister Charity

Archangels Chamuel and Charity, are the keepers of the Pink Ray. The Pink Ray holds in it unconditional love, compassion, charity, and  love of the Divine. Call on this energy to remember, or to connect with true energy of love. Helps to quiet the emotions, of heart, and mind.

Archangel Michael- strengthens your confidence!

Archangel Michael is the keeper of the Blue Ray. The Blue Ray is focus, diligence, strength, leadership, and courage.

He helps you shed away fear, and doubt. He can also assist you with assertiveness, and speaking the truth.

Calling on Michael's energy will also help to directly align you with all source energies, purpose, and then help move you forward on your path with great confidence.

Raphael- The Healing Archangel

Trying to make something happen in your life that you forget about the softness and how gentility of your own sprit. Your spirit can fill your body with the energy of calm. In a moments notice, call on your spirit to change the way your body feels.

The softness of the spirit can heal the body. The softness of the soul can heal the heart. When you’re pushing to make something happen in your life, your spirit can also be pushed in front of your body, as if your spirit is walking in front of you. Call your spiritual-self back to your body-self and allow them to merge. When the spirit is in the body, it heals the body.

Feline Energy and how it affects Humans

Energy of Domestic Cats and how they can help humans-

Cats help Humans with balance. Humans can be in many places at once (energetically); cats can also do this. We help Humans come back to themselves and be present. Have you ever noticed that you feel better when you have a cat sitting on your lap? Notice how you feel differently when a cat sits on your lap. You may have been thinking of six different things when it came to sit with you but then your focus narrows and becomes more pointed.

When you go to bed at night and a cat sleeps around your head it’s to help you have better sleep and dreams. You emit lots of energy from your head. Again, they are helping with refocusing your energy. When you lay down to sleep, you might be plugged-into six different topics and they can help narrow it down to two.

Cats also help with foresight- in other words, they can see what’s coming next into your life. Cats are travelers.

Humans sometimes get stuck and think they can’t move forward. Cats help guide you to see what’s upcoming in your life.

Archangel Chamuel and finding a new career

Archangel Chamuel on Finding the Career of Your Dreams:

There are many people wondering everyday, “Am I in the right career for myself”?

Well, let’s ask your body that. How does your body feel when you’re at work? Is it light, excited, heavy, or indifferent?

Let your body tell you what career is right for you. You picked a certain body-type based off your career choice that you planned before this life. Many people find that their body feels heavy when at their job. This indicates a separation between the career of their dreams and the career they’re currently in.

It’s easier than you think to change careers.

Your Soul would not have picked a career that doesn’t work for you financially, mentally, and physically. When you begin to manifest the career of your dreams, things simply begin to happen like magic. When you make the choice to let go and transition to your Soul’s path, magic happens.

Simply ask for help and tell God that you’re ready to do this.

Do not give up on your faith; you came here to do something special. Ask to be placed onto your path with gentleness and ease

With the energy shifts taking place on Earth, many are feeling drawn to move into work that is more creative. People want to spend more time on their hobbies than their day-job. Our hobbies are often the pursuits of our Soul. Our spiritual-selves are calling us, asking for something more. When we give time and attention to our creative side, we’re giving time and attention to our Spirit..

Ravens, Crows, and Black Birds

Birds robed in black do not give up their secrets easily. They love to watch us marvel over their messages. Black birds demand our commitment to learning their wisdom, and do not reveal their meanings unless they are convinced we've devoted ourselves completely to the path of
understanding (both dark and light sides of) energy.

This concept correlates to lunar themes too. The symbolic meaning of blackbirds is eternally linked to the "dark vs light" phases of the moon. I'm talking nocturnal awareness. Illumined lunar understanding which requires a different use of the senses. Sense which can only be utilized when transformative devotion is made. A commitment to higher knowing (flight) and an acceptance of the void (infinite vastness that eludes the ego and rational mind).

This is a fundamental concept of alchemy which is: Transition and Transformation. The bird is symbolic of life in the heavens (higher ideals, higher path of knowing) and the color black is symbolic of pure potential. Between the two, there is no limit to human transformation - all we have to do is close the shutters of the rational mind, and start sojourning with our darkly feathered friends.

Black birds (in general) are archetypes of living life in higher realms, and are symbolic of:

Higher Intelligence
Higher Thought
Higher Ideals

This is because birds are (metaphorically and mythologically speaking), situated in proximity to the higher energies of the Universe. This also positions them as heavenly or divine oracles and messengers in cultural myths across the globe.

Blackbirds and birds of black or dark colors are special among their airy clan as they are the symbolic of:

The Unknown
Pure Potential
Non-obvious Perception

Through consistent unveiling of your inner depths, (as our coal-black avian friends would have us do) positive/active utilization of these inner impulses the esoteric secrets become exposed to the light of your own consciousness.

That is why I like being named Ravenstar by my Lakota Grandmother White Buffalo
