Clear Quartz is the most widely used crystals for healing. Used alone or in junction with other crystals for an added energy boost.  

Clear Quartz can be used clean/smudge your other crystals.  This is especially handy If you have a soft crystal or one that can be damaged by water (e.g.,Selenite) , then this is great for cleansing. 

After you cleanse your crystals you will need to clear the Quartz of the negative properties it has attracted and re-energize the stone. You can bury it in the earth, or rinse with water. It is also recommended to "charge" crystals under a full moon.

Clear Quartz is used to shield against Geopathic Stress which  caused by Electromagnetic emissions from electronics like computer monitors, TV's, cell phones, high tension power lines, or anything that emits an electromagnetic field (including People).
