Make your own Wishing Well

Take any large bowl.


Drip a few drops of different colored candle wax in the bottom of the bowl, then adhere a white candle to that spot.


The different colors represent diverse needs and goals, while the white binds this variety together in harmony. Each morning, light the candle when you get up and put a coin in the bowl. Make your wish for the day. Blow out the candle before you leave the house.


Whenever you desperately need to have a wish fulfilled, remove a coin from the bowl and either plant it in rich soil (houseplants will do) or throw it into moving water so that your message of need will be carried through the earth.


When the bowl is filled with coins, use all but a few (these "seeds" always remain in your bowl) for random acts of kindness, like getting treats for the neighborhood kids or helping a homeless person. Your generosity will return to you threefold to keep the magic of benevolence, both mundane and divine, with you always.

A Druid sacred tree, chips of the wood or bark were burned at Celtic festivals especially Sabbats. Also known as Black Cherry, Wild Cherry or Chokecherry 

Magical Uses: (Wood and Fruit Juice) Creativity; Healing; Long been used to attract Love; Cherry juice is used as a substitute for blood in old recipes.


Wild cherry bark,has long been known by Native Americans as a potent medicinal plant, but only came into widespread use in the 1800s, when European immigrants and settlers brought it back to catch on in Europe. It was then that it began seeing widespread use as an aid in the treatment of coughs.

Chant When finding something to bring luck- money, 4 leaf clover, etc..

Anything you find is lucky.

When you find your lucky item, say these words:
"See a (item), pick it up!
All the day, I'll have good luck.
And when trouble might come my way
This little (item) will bless my day."

2nd Chakra

Your sacral chakra. This is located along the spine behind the genital organs. 

Issues of emotional pain and suffering, gluttony and overeating, cruelty, self-doubt, and destructive desires are common effects of a poorly functioning sacral chakra.

When this chakra is healed, we experience self-conviction, kindness, emotional intelligence, and healthy desire fulfillment.

To strengthen this chakra, I recommend you eat at least 4 oranges a week, drink 8 glasses of water a day, and perform the following meditation at least once a week.

Meditation to heal the sacral chakra:

- Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths to relax.

- Slow your breathing rate to about half of your normal rate.

- Imagine that with every in-breath the chakra is infused with orange energy.

- Imagine with every out-breath that you are exhaling any and all impurities from the chakra.

- Continue this meditation for 15 minutes or more.

If you persist with the above meditation and recommendations, you will gradually heal this chakra and see substantial improvement in your emotional temperament, self-worth, and self-discipline. Your healthy desires will flow through your body to the universe to be manifested.

3rd Eye Chakra

The third eye chakra is perhaps the best known of all the chakras. It is located in the center of the brain on the level of the eye brows. The third eye is considered our psychic center and is also called the seat of the soul.

When the third eye is not properly functioning we lack our natural intuition and psychic abilities such as remote viewing and remote influencing.

When this chakra is healed, we are able to see into the essence of things. We can see through the destructive social conditioning that keeps people in small boxes never striving for greatness. Our psychic abilities come back online. These abilities are not supernatural, in fact they are supernormal just dormant in most individuals.

Meditation to heal the third eye chakra:

Blueberries are excellent foods for assisting in third eye activation. I recommend having them 3 times a week. Also, practice paying more attention to your inner voice. The still voice within. It is always peaceful and always guides you to what's best for you, though your ego may sometimes disagree. The more attention you give to your inner voice, the more guidance you'll find that it gives you.

Performing the above meditation, eating blueberries, and listening to your inner voice can yield spectacular results.

The Power of Intention

Never underestimate the power of your Intention. It represents the most powerful magical tool at your disposal. Intention is pure Energy. It is the divine creative Force behind all cosmic, universal and human designs.

The efficiency of intention relies on two factors

1 - Establishing a purpose
2 - Intensity

Establishing a purpose, or setting a goal - is necessary as it gives us a direction. It affects the trajectory of the creative Energy. The practical question is: What do you wish to achieve?
The more precise your answer is, the clearer your path will be.

The second factor is intensity. This is the focus you draw into your thoughts.

The greater the concentration, passion and amount of energy that you can give your itention, the greater and faster the results will appear.

Coincidences won’t be coincidences but messages and divine signs that will automatically make sense.

The practical question is: How much do you want this dream to come true? To be part of your reality? To be fully experienced?.… You need to engage your entire being into this process.

The understanding of who you are is the key. Be aware of your thoughts, your choices, your decisions, your beliefs and more so your power… Remember that your reality always matches the way you perceive the world outside.

And remember that the way you perceive the world outside always matches the way you perceive your…Self.

charoite- needs amending

Lavender to dark purple with light color inclusionsCharoite is a rare mineral, discovered in 1978 and named for the Chara River in Russia. The Mongols used the stone to make jewelry and other items, and on feast days they would boil the stone to make tea. This tea was used to protect tribal members from evil. The charoite stone is often confused with the fairly similar sugilite, although it is the charoite's characteristic light colored inclusions that are the main difference between the two stones. It has the appearance of purple marble. Charoite is a stone of transformation. It can turn negative energy into positive by releasing the negative feelings and emotions. It encourages creativity and allows one to look for new solutions to old issues. It enhances courage and strength, and can be used in past life regression as well as prophesy. Its healing properties include regulation of blood pressure, inducing, healing deep sleep, and can help with nervous fears.
Found only in Russia along the Chara River.

Carneilan and its properties

Carnelian is good for healing of the body and the aura. As a major grounding stone, carnelian helps you to focus. It is used to alleviate exhaustion and stimulates the body’s natural defenses.   It can promote increased fertility.


It promotes creativity and personal power and can accentuate the dramatic. 


It protects from bad vibrations, poverty, and calms temper. Definitely helps combat the jealousy of others


It helps the insecure person to find strength within themselves. 

Blue Lace Agate and its properties

Brings peace and calmness and works well for overcoming problems. Blue lace illuminates your mind and improves ego/self esteem by renewing energy and strength. 


It is great to use in any situation where tensions may reside.  

Agate healing stones are power stones and excellent for those that deal with numbers. 

It is also known as the wishing stone.

Bloodstone and its properties

During the Middle Ages, the red spots on the gemstones were believed to be real blood.

What we call blood stone is a combination of green chalcedony (a mixture of quartz and morganite) and inclusions of iron oxide and/or red jasper.  


It is primarily known as an intense mystical healing stone, balancing spiritual forces and reducing emotional stress. Also used to help anemia or used in dis-eases of the blood


Bloodstone is well known for its creative energy.  It is a perfect gift for anyone that earns their living from their art, as it promotes creativity, and self-expression.

Aventurine and some of its properties

Aventurine brings good luck and money, joy, balance and clarity. It helps release anxieties and fears.
It has the ability to ground an individual emotionally. It encourages personal power, a positive attitude, and a state of well-being. Because it attracts wealth and abundance through opportunity, it is often used as a lucky talisman and is a popular stone for gamblers. Carry one in your pocket and be ready to accept opportunity when it comes your way.

Amethyst and some of its properties

Pale lavender to deepest violet. Purple is the color of Spirit
Amethyst is a type of quartz group known for powerful intuitive energy. 

An extremely protective stone with a high spiritual vibration,  and spirituality. It can calm the mind and help connect you to your spiritual side. 

The name for amethyst derives from the Greek and Roman belief that the stone helped protect against drunkenness. Vessels for alcoholic beverages were made from the gemstone. It is a stone of sobriety.

To gift a purple amethyst is a gift of deep passion.

Amber and some of its properties

Gold, green, orange, red, brown, black
Although it is an organic material, amber is valued as a gemstone. Sometimes insects or even small mammals may be found in the fossilized resin. 

Helps clear the mind

Promotes optimism and enhances strength and motivation

Protects against negativity.

Detoxifies the body from certain types of radiation. 

A gift of amber is a gift of healing.

Amber resin smells really good- a small piece (like the size of a piece of rice) placed in your car gives off a nice vanilla type fragrance that is soothing- I have yet to meet a person that doesn't like the smell of this resin. I have a teeny piece that sits in my ashtray and when the car gets hot, it smells GREAT!!!!

Found in many regions but best known specimens are the deposits from the Baltic and Dominican Republic.

Importance of Cleansing Crystals

When you first receive a new crystal you must cleanse it of any energy it has absorbed before. You also need to cleanse a crystal after each use such as healing, meditation or just holding onto it for the day.   You can tell that a crystal needs to be cleansed by holding the crystal in your hand (if you are energy sensitive) or by the 'sparkle' the crystal has.  If your crystal has become dull, or darker in color its likely that it needs a cleanse.  When you see a cleansed crystal it is full of light, shiny and sparkles.  When it looks clear and has an aura, this is how you know your crystal has been cleansed properly.  Below is many different methods of cleansing your crystals.  You may use a few methods together or just one.  Go with what you feel is right for you and the crystal.  

Following your intuition is best.

Smudging with soil

Mother Earth

Mother earth is a powerful cleanser of our human body as well as our mineral friends.  Crystals come from the earth, so they love to be placed back in the earth to absorb the healing energies.  You may bury the stone pointing down for deep cleansing. 

An easy way to do this is to place them in pots of soil or in a colander/bowl with dirt surrounding them.  My larger Quartz Points and crystals "hibernate" during the Winter, and look FABULOUS in the early spring!

Each full moon is a wonderful ritual you can do for yourself and your crystals.  Take some time placing your crystals on the earth if possible- but a surface like a glass table is fine too.  Let them bath in the moonlight all night and take them in again in the early morning sunlight.  Don't leave them in the sun for too long as this may fade the colours of the stones.  I do this with all of my crystals each full moon if they are cleansed or not.  It's wonderful for recharging.

Water Smudging

Placing your crystals under cool running water is a simple, quick method of cleansing.  I usually imagine that the crystals are under a white light waterfall and I watch the light penetrate the crystals on its way down.  The stones can be left in the rain or held in a creek or water can be poured over them. Use only bottled spring water, rain water or boiled water unless it is a natural spring, creek or river.They sparkle and shine after this.  

**Please be aware that porous crystals such as Selenite, Angelite, Celestite and many natural unpolished mineral specimens must not be wet as they will crumble or loose their luster and shine.** 

Sea Salt Smudging

**NEVER cleanse the following stones in salt:

Amber, Turquoise, Imperial Topaz, Red Coral, Fire Opal, Moonstone, Opal, all Calcites including Blue Calcite, Green Calcite, Orange Calcite, Angelite, Azurite, Kyanite and Kunzite or any raw or rough stone**

Placing your crystals in dry sea salt will negate the crystals of all energies.  It is a powerful way of cleansing your crystals.  Place some dry fine sea salt into a glass or crystal bowl and cover your crystals completely, taking care not to have them touching each other.  Depending on the humidity the more porous crystals will not like this method.

Using Fire or Flames to Smudge

Fire is a great cleanser of our soul as with the crystals.  You may place your crystals next to or near a fire (making sure they dont get too hot or they will crack) to cleanse or pass them through a flame.

Amethyst and Citrine Clusters

Placing your crystals on clusters is a 'set and forget' way to cleanse.  Amethyst and Citrine Clusters are the most popular.  Place your crystals on  them on for a few days and you will know when they are ready.  Give them an extra charge by placing it under a full moon!

Reiki Crystal Smudging

Reiki is a powerful pure healing energy.  It is one of my favourite cleansing methods of crystals as the energies are so beautiful.  Hold the crystal in your hand if you are attuned and enjoy the meditation.  You may also use symbols over them.  The crystal will not only cleanse but will also take on the healing energy of reiki.

White Sage Smudge

Smudging with Organic White Sage to cleanse your crystals is an enjoyable way.  Using a feather fan first of all smudge yourself making sure the smoke goes over your whole aura.  Once you have been done you may now fan the smoke over the crystals.  Alternatively you can just pass the stone through the smoke.  Make sure you breath deeply as sage is a fantastic herb for the lungs. Another way to use the herbs is to place the crystals directly on the dry herb. Only use organic herbs.

Amazonite - General Usage

Amazonite – Soothes all chakras especially heart and throat.  It enhances communication concerning love.  Aligns physical body with etheric and astral bodies producing balance.  Balances the male / female energies.  Brings clarity, and balances personality.  Great for the nervous system.  Chakras – heart and throat.


I have found that my 36" strands are extremely powerful and have a sedative nature when worn on the right wrist.
